Effective detection of bloodstream CO
Two recent independent clinical studies found that the Masimo Rainbow SET Rad-57 Pulse CO-Oximeter was effective in detecting carbon monoxide levels in the bloodstream. The Rad-57 is the first noninvasive device FDA-cleared for detecting CO levels in the bloodstream. It also measures oxygen saturation, pulse rate and perfusion index.

Powder-free latex glove
Sempermed's Polymed XP is a powder-free latex exam glove that is 12.4 mils thick at the fingertip and provides more than double the barrier protection of leading exam gloves. Designed for use in trauma and other high-risk situations, Polymed XP has a co-polymer and latex interior that provides for increased strength, durability and resistance to tearing. It also offers powder-free protection that eliminates the potential aerosolization of glove powder, as well as powder associated with the transfer of latex proteins. Polymed XP contains 50 micrograms or less of total water-extractable proteins per gram, which significantly reduces the potential for allergic reactions.
