Training for Motorcycle Trauma

Motorcycle trauma is messy, making it imperative for EMS providers to be trained to handle these unique MVAs.

The best thing EMS providers can do to prepare themselves to handle a motorcycle trauma may very well be taking the three-hour “Anatomy of a Motorcycle Crash” course. The course addresses safety, handling the bike, psychosocial concerns, jaw thrust rescue breathing, helmet removal for one or two providers, and includes a motorcycle lab.
