The PHTLS Simulator is intended to be used in training drills associated with treating survivable patients who have suffered chest trauma. Our new product line of Xtreme Trauma kits provides the opportunity for students to practice with realistic wounds manufactured from a material that best simulates human flesh. These wounds are latex-free and use an adhesive that adheres to humans and manikins. The kit includes bleeding wounds.
The Xtreme Trauma Moulage Arm represents a dismemberment/gross trauma suffered during an explosion. Bones are missing, major flesh is missing, and multiple lacerations and avulsions prevail. The unit comes with straps for attaching to either a manikin or human. The purpose of this wounded right arm is to prepare any critical care provider with visual and tactile stimuli so they can better cope with the real thing.
The manikin precisely measures all actions associated with CPR. When the student completes their skill test, the recording device automatically rates the student according to the instructor's preset parameters. Students can also view their efforts in real time in order to promote CPR proficiency.
