SUMMARY:Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course
DESCRIPTION:The EMR course is an entry-level emergency medical provider course that will prepare individuals for a position in a variety of pre-hospital, industrial, and first responder settings as an employee or volunteer. The successful completion of an approved EMR course can be a pre-requisite to pursuing training as a Fire Fighter and many law enforcement programs as well. The course will be held at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville (map) in the Bevill Health Building, Room 615. It will be held Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-8:00 p.m. beginning August 23 and ending October 25, 2012. Tuition for this course is $75.
