Nine Children Injured in Miss. School Bus Crash
A school bus accident has been reported near Hazlehurst High School.
HAZLEHURST, Miss. --
Nine children were injured Tuesday when a school bus crashed near Hazlehurst High School, police said.
A car and the bus collided on Gallatin Street near the bridge and the railroad tracks, police said.
Police said the wreck appeared to be minor, but the children were taken to local hospitals to be checked out. Some of the children were transported by ambulance and others were driven by their parents, police said.
