Indiana EMT Dies on Duty

A Henry County, Ind. EMT suffered a fatal heart attack while on the job Friday night.

Bill Kirby, 56, was found in cardiac arrest in the EMS office Friday night, according to the Courier Times.

Reports indicated Kirby returned to Henry County EMS headquarters after responding to two emergencies at about 7:30 p.m. Friday

At about 9:30 p.m., his co-workers couldn't find him. Then, another EMT discovered Kirby in full cardiac arrest in the EMS office, the newspaper reported.

The co-worker who found him said Kirby had suffered a heart attack about two weeks ago.
