OKLAHOMA CITY --
Emergency Medical Services Authority paramedics have a new tool to save patients who incur sudden cardiac arrest.
EMSA officials said refrigerators will carry cooled saline solution for induced therapeutic hypothermia.
That helps to prevent brain damage, EMSA officials said.
The equipment is on all 100 EMSA ambulances statewide.
