Texas Medics Injured in Ambulance Crash
A pair of paramedics suffered minor injuries in the Monday evening crash.
SAN ANTONIO --
A pair of paramedics were slightly injured Monday evening as the ambulance they were riding in collided with a second vehicle on the city's west side.
As the ambulance approached a yield sign near Lombrano and 29th streets, a red car crashed into the ambulance, traffic investigators said.
The ambulance crashed into a yard and struck a light pole, investigators said. The paramedics were taken to a hospital, but nobody else was injured, police said.
The driver of the car told investigators the radio was too loud and he didn't hear the ambulance approaching.
