Responders at Firehouse World Urged to Practice, Perfect
"Predict, practice, perfect and practice again." That's the message L.A. County Fire Chief P. Michael Freeman stressed to the thousands of responders attending the Firehouse World expo in San Diego, California.

Medics Describe Horror of Chimp Attack
In a strange and terrible incident this week in Stamford, Connecticut, a pet chimpanzee violently attacked a visitor to his owner's home, leaving the woman horribly disfigured and near death.
As responders tended to the faceless victim, they worried about the rampaging animal returning to the scene. Police officers were forced to shoot the chimp and found him dead in his home after he retreated.
3 Injured in Florida Ambulance Rollover Crash
An ambulance transporting an elderly woman rolled over after a pick-up truck slammed into its side Wednesday night.
"The driver of the ambulance was trapped and suffered injuries," reported Miami Fire Rescue. An EMS provider in the back of the ambulance was also injured and rushed to the hospital. The patient, who had been leaving Jackson Memorial Hospital, was also returned to the hospital but did not suffer serious injuries.
