Massachusetts EMT, Patient Killed in Crash
The 21-year-old driver of the Patriot Ambulance and the 57-year-old patient died in the crash, and a second EMT was injured.

DUNSTABLE -- Two people were killed and another injured when an ambulance transporting a patient suddenly veered off Pleasant Street into a barn this afternoon, police said.
The 21-year-old driver of the Patriot Ambulance and the 57-year-old patient died in the crash, according to police.
Police Chief James Downes said a Dunstable EMT was also injured.
It was not immediately clear why the driver lost control and crossed a yard at 121 Pleasant Street before crashing into the side of a barn-style garage at 111 Pleasant St. between 3 and 3:30 p.m.
"We're going to look at mechanical, medical. We're going to do a thorough investigation," Downes said.
A state police accident reconstruction team was also on the scene late this afternoon.
