Ambulance Crashes Into Indy Church Building

The ambulance was responding to a call when it was involved in a crash with a minivan.


INDIANAPOLIS

 

An ambulance crashed into a church building on Indianapolis' southwest side Thursday morning.

The ambulance was responding to call with lights and sirens activated when it was involved in a crash with a minivan near Foltz Street and Mooresville Road just after 8:30 a.m., authorities said.

The ambulance left the roadway and crashed into a building next to the First General Baptist Church.

Two people were taken to Methodist Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
