Three adults were rescued from the Clackamas River after their inflatable raft capsized.
The victims used their cellphones to call 911, according to Clackamas fire officials.
They told dispatchers they were thrown into the water after the raft became caught in rapids and overturned.
All were wearing life jackets and were able to swim to a island and get out the river. They were located by Boring Fire crews and were then rescued by a Clackamas Fire Swift Water Rescue Team.
They were transported by boat to Barton Park for evaluation and treatment. One person was transported by Ambulance for further evaluation.
Boring Fire, Clackamas Fire, TVF&R, Lake Oswego Fire and American Medical Response responded to the call.
