USFA's Handbook for EMS to be Focus of XM Show

The segment will air at 8 a.m. May 24.


On Thursday, May 24, the topic during The Emergency Medicine Show on Sirius XM's will be about a number of EMS issues including theĀ  new Handbook for EMS Medical Directors developed by the USFA.

The handbook was developed by the USFA in conjunction with DHS, the Office of Health Affairs (OHA), and the EMS Section of the IAFC.

The show which will air from 8-9 a.m. is hosted by Billy Goldberg, MD; Chris McStay, MD; and Howard Greller, MD - all affiliated with the NYU Langone Medical Center.

Deputy USFA Administrator Glenn Gaines will join DHS Assistant Secretary for Health Affairs and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Alexander Garza, MD; Emergency Physician and EMS Medical Director Dr. Edward Dickinson, MD.
