Authorities told 6News that the person killed was Ethan Amsbaugh, 22.
State police told reporters he was not wearing his seatbelt, was ejected from the ambulance during the crash and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The driver, Deborah Mease, 55, was treated for minor injuries and was released from the hospital Saturday morning, the station reported.
MUFC members told reporters the ambulance was returning to quarters after dropping off a patient at a hospital in Huntingdon.
