Pa. Responder Killed in Ambulance Crash
Ethan Amsbaugh, 22, was killed in the crash that happened while the ambulance was headed back to the station.
A Pennsylvania responder was killed in an ambulance crash Saturday morning.
Authorities told 6News that the person killed was Ethan Amsbaugh, 22.
State police told reporters he was not wearing his seatbelt, was ejected from the ambulance during the crash and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The driver, Deborah Mease, 55, was treated for minor injuries and was released from the hospital Saturday morning, the station reported.
MUFC members told reporters the ambulance was returning to quarters after dropping off a patient at a hospital in Huntingdon.
The driver lost control on Route 22 eastbound in Brady Township, hit an embankment and flipped over onto the passenger side.
