A CareFlite Helicopter crashed in Eastland County in Texas on Sunday morning while en route to pick up a patient, reports KTXS.
As of Monday the three crew members are reportedly in intensive care at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.
"When we responded to the scene we found 3 of the occupants--which were all part of the CareFlite crew. They were out of the helicopter, on the ground--all of them had injuries," Sgt. David Foster with the Department of Public Safety told the media.
Foster reported that all three crew members were able to talk with responders at the scene.
A small fire had ignited at the scene and responding firefighters were able to prevent the engine from exploding, KTXS reports.
The crew members were identified as pilot Scott Wallace of Fort Worth, and the two medics as Teresa Campbell of Granbury and Rhett Drahen of Frisco.
The pilot was reportedly trying to divert the flight due to limited visibility caused by stormy weather.
