A Texas man faces numerous charges after he stole and crashed an ambulance.
Police told The Eagle reporters that Coty Joe Lohse, 28, triggered an alarm when he walked out of a beauty supply store. Later, he is accused of taking a delivery vehicle he found at an auto parts store with the keys in the ignition.
He caused a wreck at a nearby intersection, but didn't stop. A witnes followed the delivery vehicle, and saw it crash again, police said.
EMS personnel from College Station Fire Department were checking on injuries when Lohse jumped in their ambulance and sped off. He was apprehended after he crashed it into a concrete pillar at a McDonalds, the paper reported.
He faces numerous charges.
