Minnesota Medic Critical After Collapsing on EMS Call
A spokesman said the medic is in critical condition, but did specify the nature of the illness.
A paramedic in Hennepin County is in critical condition after suffering a medical emergency while on the scene of a call.
The man was helping a patient in Richfield Monday night when he suffered an undisclosed medical emergency leacing his partner to care for both, KARE.com reported.
There were firefighters and police on the scene.
A spokesman said the staff is "pretty shook up."
He called the medic's partner a "picture of professionalism" because he had to watch over both his partner and the patient until he was relieved.
