Tim also talks to EMS World Expo presenter Dwight Polk about his presentation "HIV/AIDS: Why Don't We Talk About It Anymore" and what EMS providers need to remember about universal precautions.
Tim Perkins is in his 20th year in the world of EMS. He started as a teenager at a rural volunteer fire department in Central New York, got his paramedic education in Baltimore, and has worked as an administrator in the Syracuse, NY, and Richmond, VA, areas. Tim has also been a frequent contributor to EMS World Magazine since 2005 and is a member of the editorial advisory board.
