Tim Perkins has been in EMS for more than 20 years. He started as a teenager at a rural volunteer fire department in Central New York, got his paramedic education in Baltimore, and has worked as an administrator in the Syracuse, NY, and Richmond, VA, areas. Tim has also been a frequent contributor to EMS World Magazine since 2005 and is a member of the editorial advisory board.
