Braun Industries Releases Freedom Ambulance

November 10, 2010 -- Van Wert, Ohio -- Chad Brown, Executive Sales Manager Braun Industries, Inc. has announced the newest model to be released from Braun, the Freedom which is built on a Spartan Metro Star chassis.

"The Freedom is a model that meets the demands of the fire-based EMS community. After our introduction of the Braun Super Chief on the Spartan Furion, we have received numerous calls from customers about developing a product that has a larger module, can carry more firefighting equipment and offers a "built to suit" application," Brown said. "The Freedom is a direct result of those customer requests."

The Freedom offers superior outside storage space both on the cab and the module body, and it maintains the Braun exclusive Solid Body^TM construction, Ez-Glide^TM sliding door, MasterTech III^TM Multiplex electrical system and Braun exclusive Vital Max Lighting.

The Freedom has unique design features included in the module, rounded corners on the all-aluminum interior cabinetry, 45° cabinets, five-point crew restraint safety seating and transverse backboard storage. The Spartan Metro Star cab/chassis is a purpose-built cab and chassis specifically designed for the emergency/rescue industry. The cab-over-engine design allows for greater visibility and maneuverability and features plenty of room. The chassis is available in either two-door or four-door applications. The Metro Star features an advanced multiplex electrical system and utilizes either an engine tunnel or overhead heating and air conditioning system.
