5.11's new Responder Series bags are highly organized, configured to allow quick and easy location of their contents, enable users to pack them the way that works best for them, and are made with top quality materials. Constructed to carry the maximum load with ease and comfort, 5.11's EMS bags feature a durable water repellent finish, will withstand daily treatments with disinfectants and are machine washable. Lockable zippers maintain the highest security of controlled contents.
The Responder ALS (Advanced Life Support) 2900 and the BLS (Basic Life Support) 2000 bags are constructed of water-resistant 1050D nylon and include a reinforced Oxygen tank tunnel, which keeps the tank close at hand and safely in place and can be installed two ways or removed, and has a separate end access for ease of use. Both bags have a top and side-opening flap to provide easy access to the inside, as well as additional storage capacity. Padded construction protects contents from shock and impact while reflective safety strips help protect first responders in low-light situations. A unique double strap system allows comfortable carry as a shoulder bag or backpack and is adjustable and removable. Other common features of these bags include oversized, glove-friendly nylon web zipper pull tabs, write bars on the main bag and all internal bags, and Velcro name-tape and flag/patch holders on the main bag.
All four modular internal cases of the larger of the two bags, the Responder ALS 2900, are removable, which enables multiple users to work out of one bag. The four removable cases have lockable zippers and are color-coded to store an airway kit (blue), IV kit (red) advanced drug case, and basic drug case (black). The airway kit and IV kit cases also have two fold-out organizer panels. Three external zippered pockets accommodate a variety of equipment. External web platform lets the user add more storage options to suit their particular needs. The ALS 2900 is available now in Alert Blue and priced starting at $289.99.
Quick and easy access to contents and removable stadium-style organizers make the smaller Responder BLS 2000 very user-friendly. Multiple exterior pockets provide flexible storage options and the removable stadium organization with mesh top panels offers easy identification of contents and quick access. The BLS 2000 is offered in Alert Blue starting at $179.99.
