The app will then give the user the IV drip rate. The app also contains other tools such as an OB wheel and common dosage rates for Motrin and Tylenol. Other tools include temperature and weight converters. It also has an IV calculator to help calculate medications that are not in the app. The application has been updated several times. All updates are free.

Stroke Scale

Stroke Scale is the only application in the app store that has prehospital stroke scales for EMS. The application has the Cincinnati Stroke scale, Los Angeles prehospital stroke screening and ABCD score. It has the NIH stroke scale and Glasgow coma scale. This is the only iPhone app that allows the user to track the scores of the patient and email the scores. It will store and allow the user to compare scores over a period of time. The app also has a "mini neurology book." It covers the 12 cranial nerves.

The Deep Pocket Series has several other interesting apps, including a shockable ringtone. The company has also been focusing on reminder apps delivered via texting. The company will also launch Inform Me Later, which is a web application for users who do not have an iPhone. It allows the user to use any email and forward emails or attachments up to 5 mb to the company server. The server will hold it until you want it back. For example, if you get your schedule by email two months early, you can forward it to yourself for one month in advance. The server will email it back to you in a month. Doctor Castro states, "The best way I can describe it is like a snooze button for your inbox."
