General Devices Releases CAREpoint-FS System
Stand-alone system receives and forwards 12-lead reports
October 18, 2011 – Ridgefield, NJ – General Devices has announced the release of CAREpoint-FS, a stand-alone web-based forwarding service designed for pre-hospital12-lead reports.
Designed to work in conjunction with the Rosetta-DS system (also by General Devices), CAREpoint–FS receives 12-lead reports from the field and forwards them to their destination by e-mail or fax. It is a web-based system which requires no additional hardware; instead, users pay a low annual fee.
According to Curt Bashford, President of General Devices, CAREpoint-FS offers users the same fast, secure and reliable transfer of information provided by General Devices’ full-featured CAREpoint workstation. He states, “Smaller hospitals—or those with limited budgets—still need a solution, and CAREpoint-FS insures that 12-lead reports are forwarded with the same speed and reliability our customers demand.” He goes on to say that, “The combination of Rosetta-DS and CAREpoint-FS provides an excellent entry point for those facilities looking to initiate or enhance their STEMI program.”
Those hospitals requiring even greater security or report distribution functionality may upgrade to General Devices’ e-Net Messenger which can send voice, text, data or multimedia messages, and provides full message tracking with visible and audible message alerts.
