UNIONTOWN, PA—PracticalClinicalSkills.com is a new website from Medical Training and Simulation, LLC, featuring online reference guides, lessons and medical simulators designed to improve medical clinical skills.

The website provides knowledge and skills development to practitioners and students. All website materials are available for free.

The clinical reference guides use audio, video and textual materials for EKG, blood pressure measurement, heart murmurs, lung sounds and carotid artery auscultation. These guides are designed to be quick access reference sources for busy practitioners.

For students and practitioners refreshing their skills, the website provides courses covering heart sounds and murmurs, lung sounds, EKG lessons, arrhythmia drills, carotid artery exams and blood pressure assessment. These courses use web-based simulators for heart murmurs, lung sounds, blood pressure and EKG to enhance learning and facilitate skills improvement.

The reference guides and courses are compatible with PC, MAC and iPad web browsers. Several of the reference guides will become available for iPhone and Android devices in May 2012.
