Have you looked at a problem within your organization? Did you ask the question why is this so? Is there a better way to do it? If you found a way to correct that problem then you just performed research.
Come tell us about it. You may help others with the same problem, and someone else may have improved upon a problem you did not even know you had.
A broad range of projects will be considered. Presentations will be in the form of a poster session with the top 4 abstracts being selected for an oral presentation.
The deadline for submission is September 21, 2012. Submit abstracts to Lance Villers, PhD, LP, UT Health Science Center at San Antonio, email@example.com; direct questions to David Wampler, PhD, LP, UT Health Science Center, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Abstracts will be reviewed for scientific merit and EMS relevance. It is acceptable to submit an abstract previously published within the last two years. Notification of abstract acceptance will be announced October 25, 2012.
Recommended format for the abstract is as follows (less than 350 words):
Introduction: A brief description of why you performed this project (should also include your hypothesis)
Materials and Methods: How and what you actually did
Results: What you found
Conclusions: What does it mean?
