Florida Agency Chooses OnPage for Priority Messaging
Waltham, MA (PRWEB) July 31, 2012 -- Onset Technology, a leader in Mobile priority messaging, has announced that Lee County Southwest Florida EMS has chosen its OnPage service to support its staff.
Lee County EMS is a Florida certified ground and rotor-wing ALS provider. With a mission of providing the highest quality out-of-hospital emergency medical care and transportation, their highly trained professionals use the best technology to meet the needs of those who require assistance. OnPage will help them achieve this critical mission day in and day out by ensuring reliable and auditable communication under all circumstances.
“We have established a new unit to support our staff, and wanted the latest technology to ensure access to this unit at all times,” says Deputy Chief Warren Panem. “Traditional pagers were not an option for us because the coverage is too spotty and carrying an additional communication device in this day and age is just not acceptable.”
OnPage converts any iPhone, BlackBerry, or Android device into a secure and assured communications system. It combines the benefits of a Pager, SMS and Email into one easy to use application with the added benefit of encryption, time stamped audit trail and reliability. It guarantees that no messages will be missed, by continuously alerting the recipient, and by keeping the sender automatically informed as to the status of the message. To top it all off, the staff only has to carry one device for all their communication needs—their smartphone.
“We are proud to be the communication channel of choice for Lee County EMS,” says Judit Sharon, CEO of Onset Technology. “Lee county EMS’s mission statement is to use the best technology to meet the needs of those who require assistance and they chose OnPage. Our messaging is encrypted, immediate and those in need know their ‘call for help’ was received and is being handled thus ensuring the utmost privacy and reliability.”
OnPage currently supports Apple iOS, BlackBerry OS, and Android. For more information about OnPage, visit the OnPage website at http://www.OnPage.com.
