The Neonatal Transilluminator uses high intensity, cool LED light in different wavelengths to allow the clinician to visualize the small veins in neonates. It is placed under the hand or foot and the veins appear as dark lines on the opposite side. The unit has a 3 ft detachable cord that allows easy placement of the light on the baby's arm or foot.
The NT01 is used in NICU units of hospitals and in ambulance transport units world wide. It is fully patented and has FDA 510k Premarket Approval.
