EMCOOLS Flex.Pad is a non-invasive surface cooling system designed for therapeutic hypothermia treatment in the prehospital and in-hospital setting.

The innovative HypoCarbon®-technology guarantees highly efficient cooling rates.The cooling pads are non invasive and take only two minutes to apply to the patient's body. The cooling system requires no external power supply during the cooling process. Hence, the EMCOOLS cooling technology allows for the cooling therapy to be started immediately after ROSC and followed through to intensive care.

This vest has all the qualities of our basic Cool Medics Vest, as well as being flame resistant. Unlike other flame resistant fabrics with limited flame retardant expectancy, this flame resistency will not wear off with washing. Our Cool Medics fire resistant products are manufactured from 100% 7-ounce flame resistant fabric that is guaranteed for the life of the garment. This fabric has met federal test method 191 and standard test method 5903, and meets NFPA70E Category 2.

The Turley Backboard Pad was created by veteran field paramedic Amy Turley out of compassion and need. It is a reusable, multi-purpose, multi-use gel pad that can be heated and cooled according to the patient's need. The I.V. Evaporative cooling system (IVECS)™ was developed by Tactical Medical Solutions to prevent I.V. fluids from reaching excessively hot and potentially dangerous temperatures. Studies have shown that excessively hot I.V. fluids can cause tissue damage and hemolysis. Hot fluids are also counterproductive when treating heat casualties. When operating in a desert or any low humidity, hot environment, this becomes a very serious concern.
