Recognizing Contaminated Patients
Healthcare workers risk exposure to hazardous materials or terrorist agents when hospitals receive contaminated patients. This program provides training in the initial care and treatment of contaminated victims in order to prevent contamination of the healthcare worker, the facility and other patients. It is ideal for OSHA Awareness Level training for all hospital staff.
Recognizing Contaminated Patients is part of the Hospital First Receiver series, which provides at least eight hours of training in the competencies required by OSHA for healthcare personnel to be certified at the Operations Level.
