Real-life rescue scenarios reinforce decision-making skills. Free quarterly refreshers. Course covers how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants until more advanced medical personnel take over.
Topics include:
- Primary assessment
- Ventilations (incl. use of CPR breathing barriers and use of BVMs)
- Choking (incl. conscious and unconscious)
- CPR (incl. one- and two-rescuer)
- AED
- Optional training in use of epinephrine auto-injectors and asthma inhalers available
