Kokomo Tribune, Ind.

A paramedic from Russiaville is being charged with sexual misconduct after police say he committed sexual acts with an underage girl.

State police began investigating Chad Bowlby, 46, after receiving information that he had allegedly performed sex acts with a then-14-year-old girl in Howard and Cass counties during the summer of 2018 until mid-December, according to a release.

Police say at the time of the alleged crimes, Bowlby worked as a paramedic for a business which provides paramedics and ambulance service to the Cass County area.

Bowlby was incarcerated at the Howard County Jail on a warrant for felony charges of sexual misconduct with a minor, child solicitation and sexual battery. He will also face three charges of sexual misconduct with a minor in Cass County.
