Fla. Paramedic Earns Stars of Life Award

Beth Rodgers of Century Ambulance was recently honored in Washington as a 2019 Stars of Life Recipient by the American Ambulance Association.

Rodgers is a training supervisor of 450 employees across Florida. She has been with Century Ambulance for 34 years and has worked as a paramedic, EMT, dispatcher, dialysis concierge and critical care paramedic.

Rodgers has been involved in developing best practices and protocols in her industry and with Jacksonville Sports Medicine helped design training specifically for managing sports and impact injuries. She is a founding member and current president of Jacksonville's Emergency Medical Auxiliary.

According to Matt Johnson, Century Ambulance's general manager, "Beth is one of the area's first female paramedics and she has built a legacy for providing passionate leadership and unparalleled medical care."
