EMS World Top Innovation Award Submission
Introduced in 2017-2018, the Silverlon CM-333-Z is the go-to dressing for the Army in the pre-hospital environment on the battlefield. Military Medics rely on the CM-333-Z to provide up to seven days of antimicrobial dressing activity. Silverlon, in other configurations, has been on the battlefield since 2002 and used for multiple traumatic injuries. The product is extremely beneficial particularly for delayed en-route patients. EMS providers will find the dressing most beneficial in mutli-trauma casualty situations, burns, and when transport times are prolonged for whatever reason.
The CM-333-Z is a 3”X33” sterile dressing which is Z folded to aid in providing maximum coverage for most wound types.
BARDA has worked to obtain Silverlon to be available for national contingency operations as well.
A number of independent efficacy articles have been written to date on the uses and benefits of Silverlon and its antimicrobial activity.
EMS World's Top Innovation Award Program recognizes companies exhibiting at the 2018 EMS World Expo, October 29–November 2 in Nashville, TN. Visit Argentum Medical at Booth 910.
