The New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness (NJOHSP), in collaboration with FirstNet, will present this workshop to familiarize the emergency medical services and fire service community with the application of broadband wireless technology in a manner that improves the safety of both public safety personnel and the public, increases productivity, and provides improved access to, and interpretation of, data that enhances operational response.
This service-focused workshop will include speaker presentations, demonstrable scenarios, and discussions of use-cases targeted to a day in the life of an emergency medical services responder.
Featured presenters include Chief Erik Newman with the City of Stockton (CA) Fire Department and Mr. Brent Williams, Senior EMS Advisor for the First Responder Network Authority. Speaker bios can be downloaded below.
