Hall Ambulance Strike Teams Support Calif. EMS After Earthquakes

PRESS RELEASE

Hall Ambulance is deploying a second ambulance strike team to Ridgecrest to provide relief and support to Liberty Ambulance, which has been responding non-stop to medical aid requests since the initial earthquakes began on July 4.

The strike team, consisting of three advanced life support paramedic ambulances, 2 basic life support ambulances, and a paramedic field supervisor unit will be deploying from Bakersfield within the hour.

The request came through the County Of Kern EMS Department earlier this evening.

Hall Ambulance previously provided an initial strike team on July 4, following the 6.4 magnitude foreshock on Independence Day, to assist with evacuating patients from Ridgecrest Regional Hospital and transporting them to regional medical facilities in Bakersfield and the Antelope Valley.

Additional updates will be made as they are available.

Hall Ambulance is the 9-1-1 paramedic provider for 88% of Kern County, California's population.
