Code Green Campaign Welcomes New Board Members

PRESS RELEASE

The Code Green Campaign has announced the addition of Scott Moore, Ed Moreland, Ken Saunders, and R. J. Morrison to the Board of Directors, as well as the transition of Fiona Thomas to position of President.

Scott Moore holds a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University and is an active volunteer firefighter/EMT in his hometown. Scott is a consultant for the American Ambulance Association and a frequent lecturer at EMS conferences. He has spent nearly 30 years in public safety.

Ed Moreland has served in a variety of roles in the past 30 years he has been in EMS, ranging from paramedic to his current position of senior leadership. He participates in the National EMS Memorial Bike Ride on an annual basis to honor those providers who have died, and also gives back by chairing the Health and Safety Committee for the Cradle of Liberty Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Ed is also an American College of Paramedic Executives Fellow.

Ken Saunders joins Code Green most recently from Austin-Travis County EMS, where he notably received such recognition as that department’s Xavier Mokarzel Valor Award and was integral in the formation of the agency’s union. Ken brings additional experience in risk management and regulatory compliance from trucking and transportation to Code Green, as well as his decades of dedication to public safety as a whole.

R. J. Morrison has worked in a variety of positions in EMS across the United States, and currently serves as the managing director at FirstMed Ambulance in California. R. J. brings additional experience in safety to Code Green as well as a dedication to improving the industry.

Code Green thanks Ann Marie Farina for all of her time and dedication to the organization over the past six years and wishes her the best in her future endeavors.
