ZOLL Sponsors Four Accredited Safety Training Courses to Minimize Risks of Operating Emergency Vehicles
December 6, 2017—CHELMSFORD, MASS.—ZOLL® Medical Corporation, an Asahi Kasei Group Company that manufactures medical devices and related software solutions, today announced its sponsorship of four Commission on Accreditation for Prehospital Continuing Education (CAPCE)-accredited online safety courses to help first responders mitigate the risks associated with operating emergency vehicles.
These courses are part of ZOLL’s larger initiative, “Train your EMS crews today so they can save lives tomorrow,” with the purpose of bringing awareness, education, and training to emergency vehicle operators.
The courses are supported by an educational grant by ZOLL and offered by the EMS1 Academy, which offers nearly 225 full-length training courses and 275 hours of EMS continuing education accredited by CAPCE. Each Safety Course is good for one CEU at no charge to the user. Courses include:
- Ambulance Safety Design
- Leading a Safe & High-Performing Ambulance Team
- Lights & Sirens: Deadly Epidemic
- Culture of Ambulance Safety
