Summary
FirstNet is a nationwide network created for public safety, with public safety, and built by AT&T for first responders to have a dedicated network to use during emergency incidents.  In this webinar, you will learn from Internet of Things (IoT) experts about the fundamentals of FirstNet, including always-on connectivity, priority and preemption, and the innovative tools EMS can use to enhance patient care and operational safety. In addition, we will discuss the benefits of FirstNet for EMS and customer success stories and application examples.

Andrew Bronson is the Director of Product Management - Channel Technology & Programs with specific responsibility for Sierra Wireless gateway technology and their related training programs. Andrew is a customer-focused strategist, and technical leader with experience across the multiple levels of the IoT/M2M ecosystems. He has been involved in the networking industry since 1988 focusing on IP, wireline, and wireless technologies.

Chief Mike Burridge (ret) is a 26-year Law Enforcement Veteran and has 22 years experience with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department as Sheriff’s Commander, as well as four years as the Chief of the Farmington, New Mexico Police Department. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and FBI LEEDS program, and is a recognized expert on in-car camera and digital video for public safety. Mike was previously the Senior Vice-President at WatchGuard Video and was the Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at Mobile-Vision. In his roles at L-3, Mike has acted as a Public Safety – First Responder Subject Matter expert for L-3 Divisions wanting to bring military technology to the domestic First Responder environment.
