An experienced firefighter with a demonstrated history of working in the public safety industry, David was an essential leader in the development of the Los Angeles City Fire Department (LAFD) Public Safety Remote Pilot Certification Program, training firefighters to safely operate Unmanned Aerial Systems. He has in-depth knowledge of core Remote Pilot program concepts such as Aviation Training Operations Procedures Standardization (ATOPS), Operational Risk Management (ORM), Crew Resource Management (CRM), and Aeronautical Decision Making (ADM). He is also skilled in Tactical EMS, Confined Space Rescue, Search & Rescue, Hazmat Operations, Fire Suppression Systems, and is a Paramedic.
He retired after 26 years in the US Navy and was qualified as a Special Operations Forces Support Tactical Aircrewman, Rescue Swimmer, and Search and Rescue Medical Technician.

Justin Steinke

Justin focuses primarily on enabling the use of UASs for public safety agencies and enterprises. Justin has nearly ten years of experience with software and analytic solutions in the UAS industry. Prior to joining AiRXOS, Justin was with Data Into Knowledge (DN2K) and Simulyze, Inc., where, at both organizations, he was responsible for product management and strategic business development. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Technology from Metropolitan State University of Denver and is a Commercial Rated Pilot.
