Nominations Now Open for 2010 Robert G. Nixon EMS EXPO Scholarship Program
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2010 Robert G. Nixon EMS EXPO Memorial Scholarship. In partnership with EMS EXPO, The Robert G. Nixon Memorial Foundation will provide two scholarships that will each consist of a three-day core program EMS EXPO registration and $1,000 to pay for travel expenses to the 2010 EMS EXPO, scheduled to be held in Dallas, TX, September 29--October 1.

NAEMT Scholarship Information
NAEMT is proud to offer scholarship opportunities for NAEMT individual, active members. The following scholarships are available:

  • First Responders (To become EMT-Basic) - up to $500 each
  • EMT-Basic (To become EMT-Paramedic) - up to $5,000 each
  • Paramedics (To advance education in the realm of EMS) - up to $2,000 each
  • Degree completion program offered through The College Network - up to $2,500 each

FARE Children's Scholarship Fund
The FARE Children's Scholarship Fund was developed to provide financial assistance for higher education to children who lost a parent in an air medical accident.

MTLI Scholarship Program
FARE will award the competitive 2-year scholarship annually to individuals who excel in the critical care transport community. Applicants with either professional healthcare or aviation backgrounds are welcome to apply for consideration.

FARE Research and Education Grants
The Foundation for Air-Medical Research and Education (FARE) awards funds to support the development of education and research in the critical care transport community.

Motorola Future Leaders Scholarship Fund
The Motorola Future Leaders Scholarship Fund will target future fire and emergency service leaders. The scholarship program will benefit company officers pursing college-level or above course work in fire service-related fields who are currently enrolled in or who recently participated in the IAFC’s Company Officer Leadership Development Program, offered primarily at Fire-Rescue International.

NVFC National Junior Firefighter Scholarship Program
Ten outstanding junior firefighters from across the nation will be selected through a competitive application process to receive a $5,000 scholarship towards their higher education.

Harvard Fire Executive Fellowship Program
The Harvard Fire Executive Fellowship is sponsored through a partnership between the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC), the International Fire Service Training Association (IFSTA), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the United States Fire Administration. Each organization equally funds the tuition costs of selected applicants to attend the Senior Executives in State and Local Government Program at Harvard University.
