REV Group Offers First Responders Free Entry to NTT IndyCar Series

June 14—REV Group, Inc (NYSE: REVG), a Milwaukee-based manufacturer of industry-leading specialty vehicle brands, along with Road America, have teamed up to pay tribute to first responders with free entry at the inaugural NTT IndyCar series REV Group Grand Prix, June 20-23, 2019.

All active-duty first responders will receive free entry at Road America in Elkhart Lake, one of the world’s most majestic road courses, and be treated to a packed weekend of activities, including the REV Group Grand Prix feature race on Sunday, June 23. First responders including law enforcement, fire, paramedics and emergency medical technicians will be admitted free of charge by showing valid identification indicating active service from Thursday, June 20 through Sunday, June 23. Free admission must be redeemed at the gate and is only valid during the event weekend.

Additionally, first responders are invited to enter REV Group’s Answer the Call online sweepstakes to win a Lance 1475 Ultra-Light Travel Trailer. The sweepstakes (https://www.revgroup.com/rev-grand-prix) is open to any active duty first responder nationwide. Those attending the REV Group Grand Prix may also sign up in person. Furthermore, first responders attending on Saturday and Sunday will receive a complimentary tribute hat. The REV Group team will be onsite to hand out hats and enter first responders into the sweepstakes at the REV Group hospitality area. The area will have vehicles from E-ONE, AEV, Wheeled Coach and Fleetwood RV and other REV brands prominently featured and on display allowing fans to get a close look at the REV specialty vehicles that equip first responders and enrich the RV lifestyle.

As part of the special tribute, Battalion Chief Christopher Snyder of the Milwaukee Fire Department will sing the National Anthem before the race commences on Sunday and Cops In Kilts will perform for the fans.

The NTT IndyCar Series (NICS) will take center stage at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI, June 20-23, where an international lineup of drivers will compete on one of the world’s most revered road courses. NICS Championship driver, Josef Newgarden, will return to defend his 2018 Road America win in a REV branded Team Penske Dallara/Chevrolet.

“An IndyCar averages a 145 MPH on the Road America 4-mile course. Safety is paramount at our track and in this sport, and the fire and medical team are critically important. The on-track first response team have saved racecar driver’s lives, and we are thrilled that the REV Group Grand Prix gives us the opportunity to recognize all first responders on and off the track,” said George Bruggenthies, Road America’s President and General Manager.
